Notice of a Proposed Amendment to the KOTESOL Constiuttion

Regarding the two-year term of President

All members are hereby notified
of the motion to amend the KOTESOL Constitution, specified below, to be voted upon at the KOTESOL Annual Business Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 11 at 16:50 within the KOTESOL International Conference venue at COEX (Seoul),
having met the provisions for endorsement and notice under Constitution Article VIII.

That Article V of the KOTESOL Constitution be amended to DELETE the following clause,
"except  for the President, who shall serve a two-year term, elected...

The Yongin KOTESOL Conference Committee invites presentation proposals for our 2015 annual conference, to be held  on Nov. 14th at Gangnam University, in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.  Our theme this year is "Practical Classroom Activities: Arts & Technologies in the Classroom". We are looking for both experienced and new presenters to help us continue our tradition of conferences that are  engaging, provides insights and develops skills that are of real value in the classroom.

New Pamphlets and Business Cards Now Available

The Membership Committee is pleased to announce the arrival of new brochures and KOTESOL business cards! These promotional materials have been sent to chapters, along with acrylic holders to display them with pride, courtesy of the committee.

The business cards come in two different designs and include basic website and social media information, as well as a chapter list. Chapter members and executives are encouraged to carry the business cards with them so they can hand them out whenever they mention KOTESOL to someone unfamiliar with the organization.
