The Korea TESOL Research Paper of the Year Award is an annual award begun in 2018. The recipient of the award is selected from among those authors whose research papers have been selected for inclusion in issues of the Korea TESOL Journal published since the previous award. This award focuses more on the emerging researcher than on the established scholar. The award consists of (a) a certificate in a velvet folder with a gilded KOTESOL logo and (b) a one-year membership in Korea TESOL. The award winner is announced at the annual Korea TESOL International Conference.
