The Nominated Candidates for the 2021 National Elections
Posted below as PDF files are each candidate's personal information and personal statement along with the required endorsements. This information will remain available throughout September and throughout the voting period.
Election Procedures & Voting
— The voting period shall be from October 1 to October 15, 2021.
— Voting shall be conducted by online ballot only.
— Online ballots shall be prepared and emailed to current KOTESOL members just prioir to the opening of the voting period by the Elections Officer. (Ballots will be emailed to current members' email address of record in each member's KOTESOL online profile. Please log in and check that the email address is up to date.)
— Votes shall be tabulated by the Elections Officer, Lindsay Herron; verified by elections officials, Mike Peacock and Tory Thorkelson; and announced at the Annual Business Meeting on October 17, 2021.
*No candidate has been nominated for the position of treasurer, However, our present treasurer is agreeable to serving another term as treasurer, although the membership period requirement precluded their being nominated. Article V of the Constitution provides for the National Council to deal with filling such vacancies.
