Abstract
Living abroad is an aspiration shared by many, yet the challenges and surprises it brings are often underestimated. Join me as I shed light on the uncharted facets of expat life in Korea, revealing the hidden struggles and the immense rewards. My experience has taught me that with determination and dedication, nothing is beyond your reach.
About the Speaker
As a 23-year-old who first arrived in Korea at the age of 10, I've developed a profound connection to my 3rd generation Korean heritage and a strong passion for teaching. My educational journey led me to graduate from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) with a specialization in TESOL. Over the past 13 years of living in Korea, I've taken on the role of an English Teacher in an English Hagwon, bridging my multicultural background with my love for education.
