KOTESOL is currently seeking a new national treasurer. Our outgoing treasurer, Danielle Kinnison, is leaving Korea. She will be greatly missed! But her departure does mean there is an opportunity for somebody detail-oriented and responsible to contribute to KOTESOL in a vital way and gain valuable experience.
The treasurer supports KOTESOL by acting as a fiduciary for KOTESOL’s financial affairs, maintaining bank accounts and financial records, preparing the annual operating budget, and managing KOTESOL’s funds in an open and accountable manner. Volunteering as KOTESOL treasurer is a significant way to support our organization as well as being a valuable experience. Familiarity with Quickbooks and/or bookkeeping experience is a plus, but the outgoing treasurer and other officers will provide some basic training, as well.
