Jeonju-North Jeolla KOTESOL Regional Conference Call for Proposals
Dive In! Transforming Students from Spectators to Speakers
Jeonju-North Jeolla KOTESOL is inviting interested presenters to submit proposals for our 2016 regional conference to be held at Jeonju University on November 19, 2016.
Do you have any ideas for motivating Korean students to participate in their own English learning in or out of class? Any activities that get students working, whether it be speaking/listening/reading/writing, etc.? Our conference focuses on practical applications of teaching ideas. We especially enjoy workshops which actively involve the participants and demonstrate ideas, techniques, activities, and technology they can use. Presentations are 45 minutes long.
To be considered, submit:
• The presentation title.
• A 250-word abstract focusing on what will be presented and how you intend to present it.
• It is also helpful to note the target audience (teachers of Very Young Learners, Young Learners, Teenagers, or University students and/or Adults.)
• A biographical statement of 150 words for each of the presenters, written in the third person.
• Your contact phone number.
You may submit more than one proposal. Two or three presenters may work together on one presentation.
The DEADLINE for submitting is September 20th.
