Welcome Back from Summer!
Our meeting this month will feature Cheryl Woelk, who will be speaking about "Intercultural Conflict Resolution Skills for the ELT Classroom."
Cheryl Woelk is a language instructor and peace educator who currently serves as the head teacher at Connexus Language Institute. Her responsibilities include coordinating the Language for Peace project and gives her attention to integrating language and peace education curriculum. Cheryl is active in TESOL International and co-author of the forthcoming book, “Teaching English for Reconciliation”. She holds a BA in English, a certificate in TEFL, and an MA in Education and Conflict Transformation.
During our meetings we also do our best to offer assistance in ways that help one another with all that is related to teaching English. If you have any questions please contact us.
Afterwards, typically around 4:30 or 5 pm we go to a local restuarant for continuing the conversations and enjoying an evening with friends.
