Leveraging AI in EFL Teaching

This is a practical workshop on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teaching. This session is designed for EFL educators who are interested in enhancing their teaching methods and materials with AI tools.

During the seminar, we will explore:

  • Tailoring Conversation Questions: Learn how to use AI to create conversation questions tailored to different CEFR levels, ensuring your students receive appropriate and engaging prompts.
  • Enhancing Lesson Plans: See a demonstration of how AI can improve older lesson plans and transform them into interactive PowerPoint presentations, making your lessons more effective and visually appealing.
  • Course Creation: Brainstorm ideas for new Content-Based Instruction (CBI) courses and watch how AI can assist in creating a comprehensive syllabus.
  • Groupwork Assignments: Discover how to use AI to design homework assignments that foster student interaction and engagement.
  • Developing Lesson Content: Experience the process of generating PowerPoint content for a lesson, showcasing how AI can streamline your lesson preparation.

This workshop includes hands-on activities, discussions, and practical examples to ensure you leave with actionable knowledge and skills to incorporate AI into your teaching practices.

Naver Map:

As soon as you get to Yongin University, please keep an eye out for building 7. None of the campus maps I saw were very helpful, but you’ll figure it out! Luckily, the campus isn’t too big. If you spot another lost soul, it’s probably one of our event attendees. Say hi—it might make the search more fun!

If you’re not sure how to get to Yongin University, you can always try Korea’s most popular map app. Here’s how you can use Naver Map as a foreigner:
