Caring, Sharing, Daring:
Adventures in ELT
The conference theme is designed to challenge us as educators in a number of different and all-important ways.
CARING: A teacher must be a caring teacher ㅡ one who truly cares about their students' learning, their students' needs, and even the students' home situations. Teachers must also care about how well they are serving their learners.
SHARING: In addition to sharing their knowledge and skills with their students as part of the learning process, teachers should also share their expertise and experiences with their fellow teachers for the advancement of the teaching profession in general.
DARING: The teacher should not be afraid to challenge themselves ㅡ to dare to try something new, to dare to try something unconventional, to dare to try something difficult that just may result in rewarding professional development.
