There are 4 types of Group content types: Chapters, SIGs, Admin, and Sections
- Chapters: Regional Chapters within KOTESOL
- SIGS: Special Interest Groups
- Admin: Special Administrator and Executive Groups, hidden from the public
- Sections: Used to create sections for special page groups such as Publications, KTT, large Conference Events
Features
- Menus and page lists are automatically created and organized within a group.
- Group admins can create Pages, Events, News, Discussions, and Presenter pages within the group
Chapters
- Open to all members
- Members can start and participate in Discussions
SIGs
- Can be created and administered by a member
- Can be public of private
- Group members can start and participate in Discussions
Admin
- Designed for administrative groups, information, and discussions outside the regular membership
- Closed to only Administrators, Executives, and special members
- Only the group administrator can select who can join the group
Sections
- Designed for special information groups such as Conferences, Publications, KTT, that require a variety of information grouped into one section.
- Only administrators can create pages within a section
- Closed to Discussions
