KOTESOL has been working with Asia TEFL to create a mutually beneficial arrangement; per our agreement, KOTESOL members are entitled to the following benefits at the Asia TEFL 2020 International Conference (Nov. 27-29, online and in-person at KINTEX, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do):
- Discounted registration (register for the same price as Asia TEFL members--a 50,000-won savings--regardless of whether you're attending online or in-person);
- Preferential weekend scheduling for presenters who are KOTESOL members (and a late start to allow people time to travel to the site on Saturday!)
Registration fees for KOTESOL & Asia TEFL members
Early Bird & Presenters (September 15-November 1)
General: 70,000 won (120,000 won for non-members)
Students & Primary, Secondary School Teachers: 35,000 won (60,000 won for non-members)
Regular Pre-registration (November 2-November 20)
General: 100,000 won (150,000 won for non-members)
Students & Primary, Secondary School Teachers: 50,000 won (75,000 won for non-members)
The conference will be both online and in-person (if the COVID-19 situation permits it). For the registration fee, all participants will receive a digital conference program book, the conference mobile app, and links to conference sessions for one month post-conference. In-person participants will receive additional perks, including a conference bag, a dinner box for all three days of the conference, and a conference t-shirt.
To get your KOTESOL members discount, you must register at the Asia TEFL 2020 Conference website and enter a KOTESOL membership verification code, which is posted here on the KOTESOL website (members' access only; log in to view).
