Lindsay Herron has been a visiting professor at Gwangju National University of Education in Gwangju since 2008. Prior to that, she taught English on a Fulbright grant at Seogwipo High School in Jeju-do. She has a master’s degree in literacy, culture, and language education from Indiana University, a master’s in cinema studies from New York University, bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology from Swarthmore College, a CELTA, and the CELTA YL Extension. She is presently pursuing her doctorate at Indiana University. At the National level, Lindsay is the president and the chair of the Membership Committee; she was co-chair of the FAB11 and KOTESOL National Conference 2017 and chair of the 2022 KOTESOL International Conference, and has served on the International Conference Committee since 2012. She also has been the Gwangju Chapter president (2017-2018, 2021-2022). Lindsay is also chairing the upcoming 2024 ESBB and KOTESOL National Conference in Gwangju in October.
