Directions to the Venue:
Hands-down the most convenient arrival point is Masan Nambu (마산남부) Bus Terminal. It’s a quick walk to the university’s main gates. All you do is exit the bus terminal, turn right and at the lights (McDonald’s), turn left and go straight to the university’s main gates.
Masan has three bus terminals, and the other two – Masan Shiwaye (마산시외) and Masan Gosok (마산고속) – may also be your arrival point in the city. From either one of these terminals, you can take a 15-20-minute taxi ride to Kyungnam University’s main gates (경남대학교 정문), or a 25-30-minute bus ride. The list of popular buses that stop at the university’s main bus stop is listed below.
The train is also a good choice for fast arrival into Masan. You will arrive at Masan Station (마산역), where plenty of taxis will be waiting for you. Just grab one for a 15-minute ride to the university’s main gates, or walk down to the main street and take a bus (list of buses is below).
If you’re flying into Gimhae International Airport, you can take the airport limousine bus to Masan. It stops at Masan Station right next to the train station, and you can take a taxi or bus as mentioned previously.
The most popular buses that stop at the Kyungnam University Nambu Terminal (경남대학교남부터미널) stop are the fast buses numbered 800, 801, 703, 704, 707, and the slower ones numbered 100, 101, 102, 103, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 122, 160, 163, 164. For the full bus list, see the photo.
Once you’re at the university’s main gates, it’s super simple getting to the venue. Just walk through the gates and straight up past the pond on your left towards the BNK bank on your right. You’ll see signs pointing you up the hill towards the Changjo Gwan (창조관) building. After walking by a garage entrance, you’ll enter the building on your right and walk straight into the main floor where the conference is being held.
Don’t worry – there will be clearly marked signs and lots of volunteer helpers around to direct you.
